Day 1 – Arrival in Tbilisi |

Arrival to Tbilisi International Airport; Transfer to the hotel and check-in; Tbilisi city tour;You will visit:Old Tbilisi – center of Tbilisi where numerous cultures and epochs meet each other. Here you will find historic houses built with traditional Georgian brick and ultramodern glass structures; church, mosque and synagogue, European and Asian architectural monuments next to each other and more importantly, you will visit Abanotubani – the place from where the history of Tbilisi starts; Transfer back to the hotel; Overnight at the hotel in Tbilisi. |
DAY 2 – Gori, Uplistsikhe, Kutaisi |

08:00 – Breakfast at the hotel; 09:30 – Start of the tour;You will visit:Uplistsikhe – (literally “Lord’s Fortress“) is an abandoned rock-hewn town, which once have played an important role in Georgian history. The place was founded in the late Bronze Age, around 1000 BC, and continued to be inhabited until 13th century AD. Uplistsikhe was one of the most influential political and religious centers of pre-Christian Kartli – one of the predecessors of the Georgian state; Prometheus Cave – is located at the distance of 40 km from Kutaisi, in Tskaltubo Municipality. About 2 km touristic route is arranged in the karstic cave consisting of 16 halls and represents the most beautiful attraction for visitors. In favorable climatic conditions, it is possible to finalize the excursion by the navigation route: waters accumulated within the ground create an underground river in the cave which takes the boats to the harbor arranged outside the cave; Kutaisi – city in the West Georgia, Imereti region, one more capital of the ancient Colchis and the Georgian Kingdom. Kutaisi with its diverse history and culture is one of the most interesting destinations for tourists; Check-in at the hotel and overnight in Kutaisi. |
DAY 3 – Enguri Dam, Mestia |

08:00 – Breakfast at the hotel; 09:30 – Start of the tour; You will visit: Enguri HPP – hydro power plant on Enguri river, its construction finished in 1978. Arch dam with the height of more than 270 meters which is one of the largest in the world creates the most beautiful water reservoir in Enguri valley, along the motor road. Svaneti – the most beautiful region of Georgia is located high, in the Caucasian mountains and astonishes visitors with its unique nature, culture and architecture. Mestia – the central city of Svaneti with its unique architecture and location. Traditional Svanetian towers give more special appearance to the settlement surrounded by magnificent mountains. Svaneti Museum is also located here were unique examples of Georgian engraving and icon-painting are preserved. Check-in and overnight at the hotel in Mestia. |
DAY 4 – Ushguli, Mestia |

08:00 – Breakfast at the hotel; 09:30 – Start of the tour; You will visit: Ushguli – village located at the distance of 45 km from Mestia which is one of the highest settlements in Europe above the sea level (after village Bochorna located also in Georgia) and is located at the bottom of mount Shkhara. Ushguli fascinates visitors with its astonishing beauty – the main monument of the village is Lamaria of Ushguli – Church of Mother of God (9-10th centuries) which stands against the background of Shkhara and creates a wonderful landscape. Drive back to Mestia, overnight. |
DAY 5 – Martvili Canyon, Kutaisi |

08:00 – Breakfast at the hotel; 09:30 – Start of the tour; You will visit: Hatsvali – ski resort near Mestia. From the upper cableway station Zuruldi located at the height of 2340 m above the sea level you can enjoy wonderful views of mount Ushba and villages of Svaneti. Martvili Canyon – Martvili Canyon does not leave any visitor indifferent. 300 m long navigation route in the deep river valley and 700 m long pathway where bridges and platforms are arranged are a wonderful place for enjoying nature and charging with positive energy. Check in at the hotel and overnight in Kutaisi. |
DAY 6 – Mtskheta, Gudauri |

08:00 – Breakfast at the hotel; 09:30 – Start of the tour; You will visit: Jvari Monastery – monastery located on the hill near Mtskheta from where a wonderful view of Mtskheta and the confluence of Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers is seen. The monastery is the most significant monument of the Orthodox architecture. According to history, the King Mirian erected a wooden cross as the symbol of conversion of Iberia to Christianity in the 4th century. A large temple was built in the early 7th century which covered the cross. The plinth of the cross is preserved in the middle of the temple; Mtskheta – ancient city located at the distance of 15 km from Tbilisi which was the capital of the Georgian Kingdom until the 5th century (until foundation of Tbilisi). Mtskheta is often called “Holy City” due to its historic role and the most significant religious monuments; Svetitskhoveli – magnificent cathedral located in the center of Mtskheta. According to the legend, Christ’s robe is preserved here. Construction of the cathedral completed in 1029 and is considered to be the most brilliant example of the Georgian traditional church architecture. Svetitskhoveli always fascinates visitors with its beauty, sophistication and refinement; Ananuri – fortress of 16-18th centuries located in Aragvi valley, near Zhinvali water reservoir. During the centuries, Ananuri Fortress had very important military function for the region. Gudauri – the most popular ski resort of Georgia. Located at the distance of 140 km from Tbilisi, Gudauri hosts visitors all the year round: in winter, snow-covered Gudauri is visited by skiers, extreme sports lovers and enthusiasts. In warm periods of the year its mountains are covered with green meadows, and modern and comfortable hotels ensure relaxation and leisure of visitors. Check in at the hotel and overnight in Gudauri. |
Day 7 – Kazbegi, Tbilisi |

08:30 – Breakfast at the hotel; 09:30 – Start of the tour;You will see:Kazbegi – the region located in the north of Georgia, in Caucasian mountains. Due to its magnificent landscapes and views, Kazbegi is one of the most favorite destinations for tourists; Gergeti Trinity Church – 14th century Gergeti Trinity Church is located on the hill above Stepantsminda. A splendid view of the settlement as well as mount Kazbek (5047 m above sea level, the third highest peak in Georgia) is seen from the church. Juta – remote village in Kazbegi Municipality. The village located within 15 km from the main road is immersed in the Caucasian mountains and it is possible to visit it only during 6-7 months. It is very difficult to reach the village during the remaining months, due to adverse weather conditions and high snow. Drive to Tbilisi; Check-in at the hotel and overnight in Tbilisi. |
Day 8 – Departure |
