Day 2 – Tbilisi city tour (5 hours’ duration) |

9:00 Breakfast at the hotel; 10:00 Start of Tbilisi city tour (5 hours’ duration). Tbilisi – the capital and the largest city of Georgia founded in the 5th century. The city built on the banks of Mtkvari river, a unique mixture of the oriental and western culture is a heartbeat of the country;You will visit:Old Tbilisi – center of Tbilisi where numerous cultures and epochs meet each other. Here you will find historic houses built with traditional Georgian brick and ultramodern glass structures; church, mosque and synagogue, European and Asian architectural monuments next to each other and more importantly, you will visit Abanotubani – the place from where the history of Tbilisi starts;Transfer back to the hotel; Overnight at the hotel in Tbilisi. |
Day 4 – Kakheti Tour (8 hours’ duration) |

9:00 Breakfast at the hotel; 10:00 Start of Kakheti tour. Kakheti – region in the east Georgia, known for its history and more importantly, viticulture. Kakheti is also called “Wine cellar of Georgia” because the largest part of its plains and cultivable lands is covered with vineyards, and growing grapes and viticulture are the main activities of local residents;You will see:Tsinandali – village Tsinandali of Telavi Municipality is known for House-Museum of Aleksandre Chavchavadze and a unique wine cellar where you will find the 19th century wines. You will be able to taste traditional Kakhetian wines, visit the residence and listen to a very interesting history of the Chavchavadze family; Gremi – church built in village Gremi, Kvareli Municipality in 1565. In addition to the church, the complex includes the King’s residence and defensive structures. Gremi used to be a powerful city, however it is almost entirely ruined after invasions of Shah Abbas; Kvareli – city in Kakheti, on Alazani valley. Kvareli is known for Ilia Lake and Kvareli Lake, House-Museum of Ilia Chavchavadze and numerous wineries; Signagi – the most beautiful small city located at the distance of 110 km from Tbilisi and overlooks Alazani valley from the upland. Over the centuries, Signagi served as a shelter for the population residing around it during invasions. That’s how this word was originated (Turkish word “Sığınak” means “shelter”). The city is surrounded by 4 km defensive wall with 28 towers for protection; Bodbe Monastery – nunnery near Signagi. According to the legend, St. Nino of Cappadocia who brought Christianity to Georgia is buried here.Drive back to Tbilisi; Overnight at the hotel in Tbilisi. |
Day 4 – Kazbegi Tour (8 hours’ duration) |

9:00 Breakfast at the hotel; 10:00 Start of the trip. Kazbegi is the region located in the north of Georgia, in Caucasian mountains. Due to its magnificent landscapes and views, Kazbegi is one of the most favorite destinations of tourists;You will visit:Zhinvali Water Reservoir – water reservoir, built in 1985. Located alongside Georgian military road, its main function is to supply Tbilisi with water; Ananuri – fortress of 16-18th centuries located in Aragvi valley, near Zhinvali water reservoir. During the centuries, Ananuri Fortress had very important military function for the region; Gudauri – the most popular ski resort of Georgia. Located at the distance of 140 km from Tbilisi, Gudauri hosts visitors all the year round: in winter, snow-covered Gudauri is visited by skiers, extreme sports lovers and enthusiasts. In warm periods of the year its mountains are covered with green meadows, and modern and comfortable hotels ensure relaxation and leisure of visitors; Gergeti Trinity Church – 14th century Gergeti Trinity Church is located on the hill above Stepantsminda. A splendid view of the settlement as well as mount Kazbek (5054 m above sea level, the third highest peak in Georgia) is seen from the church; 16:00 Transfer back to Tbilisi (2.5 hours’ drive); Overnight at the hotel in Tbilisi. |
