Signagi |

The most beautiful small city located at the distance of 110 km from Tbilisi and overlooks Alazani valley from the upland. Over the centuries, Signagi served as a shelter for the population residing around it during invasions. That’s how this word was originated (Turkish word “Sığınak” means “shelter”). The city is surrounded by 4 km defensive wall with 28 towers for protection. |

Village Tsinandali of Telavi Municipality is known for House-Museum of Aleksandre Chavchavadze and a unique wine cellar where you will find the 19th century wines. You will be able to taste traditional Kakhetian wines, visit the residence and listen to a very interesting history of the Chavchavadze family here;
